I'd like to see less scandals, more tradition. But as time goes on, I'm seeing the opposite of this.

As a kid, I / we used to live in King Henry 8th's old house in Beddington, Surrey (converted into apartments).

AFL is just a televised game of hot potato :)
If you watch Australian soccer (real football ;) ) then the local teams try to play soccer the same way. In both games, players just seem to boot the ball as hard as they can, towards the general direction of the goal and hope for the best.

AFL players can assault each other and continue playing which is a bit weird. We have a lot of weird things here :)

Welcome to the New Order?

I think that I shall watch it tonight. Watched An American in Paris last week and absolutely loved it. the Turner Classics Library is available to browse on HBOmax and I'm loving being able to see old films that I've always heard good stuff about... turns out, they ARE that good!

Yeah, if I'm not staying up to watch AFL at that time, I'm surely not staying up to watch a guy get a hat with no sports involved. :smug:

I heard there was big upset when others from the "other properties" could pledge allegiance to the throne which did not go over well, also the re******* aspect since he is member of the Chirch of England which cannot be discussed here. I wonder ...gheeze starts at 2:!5AM EDT.  thats gonna be an early morning party here in USA.with the coronation at 11AM EDT
