in internal device is setup to provide those updates. and the clients on the secure network go to the internal device for those updates.
like for windows, one could use Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)

What is the proper way of providing the client machines with the needed updates and the firewall with access to update their malware signatures in a high secured network where internet access is not provided to the firewall and the client machines?

just a couple of cell phones here, a few laptops, and a printer.  I did forget my work laptop, as I didn't work yesterday.

Wireless / Wireless AP upgrade

I went and bought a ASUS RT-AX86U Pro to replace my NetGear WAC104, I have them both running together until I get my wife and daugther to move over to the new network, then I will take out the Cisco 2950-12 and ASA5525 Firewall, and the WAC104, I could also probably pull out my Cisco 3550 also, and go 100% wireless with the  RT-AX86U connected directly to the cable modem.

My concern with the Brax VPN is that it's a vanity project. It all revolves around the one guy, and if he goes away, so does the product.

As for other commercial VPNs, I have no guarantee that their private keys haven't been captured by those who listen in, allowing them to listen in - and may target me specifically because I'm using a VPN that they have keys for.

Hello folks,

Do any of you have any experiences to share, feedback, or other information, good or bad, on the following VPN products:

1. Mozilla
2. Brax.me VPN
3. Proton VPN

I have been watching a lot of Rob Braxman's videos (Brax.me) on privacy; they seem good to me.  He mentions that his VPN does not assign many people to the same IP address but that their VPN products "bounces you around" which I interpret to mean does a better job of assigning IP addresses that are not obviously identified as a VPN assignment.

Thanks in advance,

Ah-ha!  >:D

There's likely going to have to be a number of other things that got hammered out of CentOS that are still in RHEL.
