Title: Access closet cleanup [BEFORE | AFTER]
Post by: LynK on January 22, 2015, 02:32:28 PM
Hello All,

I am starting a thread on an upcoming project in which we are revamping our new access-closets and are completely re cabling them. I am going to be posting before and after pictures so you all can be Wowed :)  :wtf: :wtf:

@dean, can you make this thread sticky so everyone after can post their closet cleanups?

I've done a few closet cleanup's in my day.  they are _very_ time consuming when they are a mess...unless things are well documented and you can snip..snip..snip...which is never true in a closet mess.   plan accordingly.

Thank you for the warning ristau, I have everything documented in visio as to which actual patch panel port goes to which vlans/etc. I am VERY serious when it comes to documentation. We are bringing the new switches up, while the other switch is already up.

I wish posting before and after network setups wasn't a security issue :-(
