I mean if the ball dropped in tenth story of building, I  can literally see it is falling through several floors unabated like an acid ball.

:haha2:

This "ZOMGWTFBBQ RU5514N H4XX0RZ!!!!" stuff is so funny until I realize that the USA is using this as justification for its foreign policy actions, like it did with the "ZOMGWTFBBQ WMD IN THE IR4Q!!!!!" thing back in 2003.

mostly fox news tend  to get most of the ridiculous viral thread, but in recent years, it seems dnc based cnn is catching and even exceeding the fox in many respects by becoming serious competitor hypocrisy department.

I don't see how CNN directly stated the Fallout 4 screenshot was evidence.  Seems like nitpicking to me.

Yes, definitely not as evidence, and it showed it as a split second duration. But the fact that it grabs screenshot from popular gaming screen and using it during the news as important as national security shows how CNN approaches things and one can immediately infer the way likelihood of national security issues are being approached in the same way they chose the news image. Haphazardly!

It's basically the state of tech reporting, in general. People that know nothing are telling lies about things that are not happening.

like it's classified, you can't know something unless you have a need to know something, and you can't ask.
Like when once gets a clearance, they can't tell you because it's classified, and the guy who got the clearance doesn't have a need to know.

It's all just TV anyway, like in all those TV shows we all make fun of with the funny technology that ain't real, Like IPv4 addresses with  octets in the 600 range. (CSI Cyber, ahem).

They can't show you any of the real stuff, because 1. they probably have no proof, 2. they'd give the house away if they showed real documented proof of a used hacker script, 3. every hacker and his brother would be combing through that 2 second slice of video, trying to ascertain the real hacking code from snippets, 4. it's all just TV anyway.

^^^ All true.

Which is why screen shots like the one used shouldn't be used, anyway. News media needs to be more about news, less about flashy graphics.

You want to go back to the old days where Walter Cronkite reads news on the tv screen via a teleprompter????
