Title: Cisco's bug of the week
Post by: icecream-guy on January 17, 2017, 08:36:09 AM
Hit this one over the weekend

So much for power redundancy within a 5K chassis

Cause was due to bug CSCuf57615

in summary: Switch reloads do to power supply failure

So... get the redundant power supplies, but it still bounces if one of the power supplies fails?

"That's right, sir. All the power supplies you purchased for five-nines HA are essentially doorstops with this bug... you have zero HA in the event of a power supply failure, even though having multiple power supplies is supposed to mitigate that very thing."
