Pick them winners. Not responsible if the wording of the questions causes you to sway your vote.
In the games that do not seem to be foregone conclusions, I'm taking Pats over Chiefs, Cards over Lions, Dolphins over Bucs, Ravens over Bengals, Eagles over PDBIPs, Packers over Seattle in a close, close game, Cowboys over Giants, and Vikings to beat the Saints.
LOL Browns opening vs. the Steelers.
its funny any all, but it would be nice to know where the games are being played.
Why not something like this to keep it simple:
Giants vs. Cowboys (@G) (GIANTS WIN) - GIANTS GONNA STOMP DEM COWBOYS - HURDUR!
Giants vs. Cowboys (@G) (COWBOYS WIN) - HURDUR WE MERICAS TEAM - HURDUR WE BEAT WOMEN
:butno:

Home team is always listed last. football, baseball, many other sports, it's like a standard
so Giants vs. Cowboys implies a home game for the Cowboys,
or simply Giants at Cowboys.
Who picked the Browns? Seriously! :problem?:
More importantly, who picked the Chargers and why? I'm intrigued about the reasoning on that one.

It was I
I don't have a clue about American Football, are they that bad?

haven't been in the playoffs since 2002, second behind the Buffalo Bills, who haven't been in the playoffs since 1999.

Because of how that team has churned through all of its coaches, managers, and star players, there was an article written a few years back about "The Revolving Door on the Factory of Sadness". That article is still an apt description of the club. It is the Factory of Sadness. And there is a revolving door to it because a person goes there and is soon spat back out a short while later, never to return to football again. Or maybe never to be a first-string player again, with very few exceptions.
Enjoy watching, but don't get into all the background. I cheer on the Saints, and Seahawks. The rest of my picks are just fun.
Chiefs over Patriots - no thought to this
Bills over Jets - I don't like the Jets for no reason
Jags over Texans - My house always cheers for teams with cat mascots because of my wife
Steelers over Browns - Because the Browns
Lions over Cards - Cats vs Birds? Pretty sure we know who wins that match up
Dolphins over Bucs - no reason
Bears over Falcons - because ATL airport sucks
Raiders over Titans - future home team to win
Bengals over Ravens - see Lions game above
Potomac Drainage Basin Indigenous Persons over Eagles - Just because I found "Potomac Drainage Basin Indigenous Persons" funny
Rams over Colts - LA is closer to me than Indianapolis
Panthers over 49res - Cats again
Seahawks over Green Bay - Dad is from Washington so Seahawks always
Giants over Cowboys - Only because I like poking fun at my friend who is a Cowboys fan.
Saints over Vikings - Saints is my team.
Broncos over Chargers - Brother was born in Denver.

Gonna have so much fun with that Cowboys-Giants game, no matter how it comes out...

I picked chargers, and this is why:
1) No more Wade (Defensive Coordinator)
2) New HC
3) Chargers Defense is better than people think
4) Broncos offense is anemic
5) Phillip is gonna throw for 250+ yards
edit: I think I was tripping or something. My grammar was terrible.

OK, then, I'll give 'em a quarter to get things interesting. :smug:
I also forgot one more thing. Chargers home opener is gonna be nuts in LA (even if they are hated).
looks like the Houston game that was moved to Dallas for tomorrow night got cancelled.
I'm staying strong on my pick for New England to win tonight.
Although... most writers are thinking of a Pats/Packers super bowl and I'm going to say no. Unthinkable as it may seem now, New England doing a back to back win is statistically highly unlikely. Something happens along the way, I'm guessing... the Pats are tough, but not indestructible.
