Title: Is It NAC? Or Is It a Dead Port?
Post by: deanwebb on December 06, 2017, 07:37:38 AM
HINT: If the device can plug in just fine somewhere else with a new cable, and NAC is active there with the same rules as well, then it's probably not NAC.  :smug:

This is a real issue, though, and needs to be investigated properly so that, with the right root cause, you get the right solution.

Getting the customer to provide information beyond, "Hey, some of those ports you blocked yesterday are still blocked, it seems. Please fix them."  :twitch:

There are over 200 locations... knowing *which* location has the issue would be a great start.
