In the January 16, 2018 Ask The Headhunter Newsletter, a reader gets tired of recruiters and HR reps who want to do phone screens, then do nothing. Short version: just say no to the phone interview, it's probably only to fill a quota. If they really want you, they'll do a face to face instead of a phone screen.
