It is technically possible, but is not recommended.

Like they siad it is technically possible, but not recommended.
Huawei SCUM main control board has uplink ports, it can deloy uplink function in theory, but this solution is not recommend, normally 2*SCUM configured in one Huawei BLT chassis, one is active, another is standby, if active board stops working, all service can be automatically synchronize to standby board, but since not two boards both configured uplink modules, so the uplink service will be interrupted if deploy uplink function on SCUM.
In all, Huawei GIF and Huawei X2CES are the uplink board for MA5600T."

Note to vendors: if you wish to provide technical advice, we are happy to have you participate here. However, I edited to remove links back to the poster's site that had purchasing information.

What I also found interesting was how the phrase "Huawei SCUN main control board has uplink ports" shows up so many times out there on various tech sites.

:wha?:

Moved it here after consideration... I think this is either one or two people, posting a question with a stock answer on various forums. I see the exact same question and pretty much and/or exact same answer in various other locations out on the Interwebs. I got my answer from seeing a post very much like the one in Zoe's reply. When that one rolled in, with links back to the same domain as Zoe's email address, the red flag went up.

Basically, they're posting links all over the Internet to build up their Google search rank, not because they actually have this question.

I checked Jorna's email, as well, and it's also thunder-link.com, like Zoe's and the links that I removed.

When I'm done at this client site, I'm doing a little more editing and moving this to the Museum of Forum Fail. In the interim, it's time to banhammer these users and block thunder-link.

Even more fun: both accounts have the same registration hostname and IP:

IP: 45.79.72.58
Hostname: li1171-58.members.linode.com

:haha2:

I edited the OP and the response from the OP's other half to mess with the acronyms.

Notice also the hanging quote at the end of the response to the question. No beginning quote, just an end quote. That's not a normal fat-finger error like ., or !~. Another sign of a human-generated SPAM.
