Title: Question for those of you running nexus 7ks
Post by: LynK on February 15, 2018, 10:42:03 AM
Are any of you on version 7/8 of NX-OS. I want to upgrade to either of these to get the BIDI single strand transceiver support.

Just wondering how it is running for you all.

We have a pair of 5672s running 7.1 with no problems. We do have bidi 40G optics in them for the peer link. Not doing anything fancy nor fast. Aggregate we probably have about 20 - 30G over all interfaces combined. VPC with a few po interfaces facing servers. 4 or 5 FEXs on each. Gave up on dual homed FEX configurations. More pain than they are worth. We just dual homed all the servers.
