SPECIAL EDITION: The Federal Trade Commission charges SevenFigureCareers and Craig Chrest with “bilking consumers” for “sham job placement and resume repair services.” SevenFigureCareers Revisited A series of investigative articles appeared here between September 2016 and January 2017 about SevenFigureCareers, an "executive search firm" that charged people money for job interviews with "private equity" (PE) and "venture capital" (VC) firms. The articles allege the business, operating out of Texas and California under many names including Private Equity Headhunters, WWEJSS, 7F, 7FigCareers, and PEHHS.COM, is a scam. Plenty of good juice in this one... and the link works!

Just another warning to steer clear of firms that promise guaranteed shortcuts - be they dumpsites, recruiters, whoever. Those shortcuts either break laws / rules or will mean you spend money for something you never get.
