This is a great article to print off and anonymously slip under the doors of managers and directors.
If you're not a manager, then the takeaway is that once you see down-hiring happening (when a manager hires idiots in order to protect his mediocrity), it's time to go. The happy days are over and if the fancy coffee isn't already gone, it's on its way out the door before you can say "outsourcing."
