It's definitely improving. We now have switches, virtual asa. Official IOS 15.5 (pfrv3 anyone?). IOS XR, IOS-XE for the SP candidates. Ability to break environment out to the real network via a flat management network is a killer, running python scripts against virl routers for labbing is really handy, and easier than manually creating 1 loopback to cloud interface for each in GNS3.
