Title: IOS 12 --> 15 on 6509 VSS?
Post by: wintermute000 on July 05, 2015, 11:56:32 PM
Anyone done an IOS 12 --> 15 upgrade on 6509 VSS?

Is there the similar 1 hour microcode

updating wait time like with 3750s, and is the process any different from the instructions in the book?
Single sup (phew)

check to see if upgrades are needed for Line Cards, Sup720 Switch Processor Firmware, & SUP720 MSFC Firmware

personally I never had any luck with the ISSU upgrades on a VSS pair.

Yeah aware of that

Wondering though if the procedure changes - struggling to find an explicit 12-15 set of instructions - or are the instructions linked still valid?
