... you're trying to help someone troubleshoot why SNMPv3 traps don't appear to be working with their Orion NPM server and they've been working it for a couple days now. You have zero experience with Orion NPM, or standing up servers, yet you're able to stand up a WIndows 2012 server in VirtualBox, install an eval version of Orion NPM, and successfully setup both polling AND snmpv3 traps using a virtual instance of Arista vEOS - all on your laptop - all in an hour or two!!!

You gotta love when a network vendor offers everything through a free virtualized version of their os that does everything... just sayin.

Oh yes! I had this exact scenario happen a couple weeks ago. Jr techs are trying to figure out an SQL issue and they ask me to help. I know next to nothing about SQL so I did a quick google search and the answer was literally in the first hit lol.

Hehe - yep. All bias aside, honestly, I love the fact you can do so much with it. It is literally the only way I'd be able to get hands-on with some of this stuff sometimes... never experienced this with anything else. Love it.
