anyone ever used this nerd knob in anger - on a router WITH A PRIVATE AS?
i.e. if I am AS 65530 and I am getting BGP routes with a path of 65531, I want to advertise them onwards as purely 65530 without having to manually re-originate them (summarization etc.)
I am going to lab it up anyway (probably wouldn't bother if I had a public AS but you guys can see what I'm slighly concerned about) but throwing it out there.
And just to close my own loop LOL
XXXXX(config-router-af)#$ remove-private-as all replace-as
%BGP: Private AS cannot be replaced for local private as
